Recommended Trailer Hitch, Bike Carrier, And Cargo Carrier For 2016 Acura RDX

Hi, I have a 2016 Acura TL. Im looking to purchase a hitch, bike rack, and cargo carrier. The bike rack should accommodate two hybrid type bikes not fancy racing bikes. Im looking to use the carrier to help move my daughter into college. Kindly suggest products for me to purchase. Thanks for your help.

The trailer hitch I recommend for your 2016 RDX is the Draw-Tite, part # 75784. This is a Class lll hitch and it has a 2-inch receiver opening.

I recommend a platform-style bike carrier for your Acura. These racks provide a more stable ride and it is easier to load and unload the bikes from the carrier. I like the Swagman # S44FR as it is heavy duty and the mast folds down for rear vehicle access.

We also have a bike rack with a cargo carrier attached you may be interested in. It is the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2, part # HR1450Z-85. This will hold 2 bikes and also provide a cargo carrier that measures 52 inches long x 15-1/2 inches wide x 6 inches wide. Both the bike rack or the cargo carrier can be used as stand alone items.
