Recommended Kayak Carrier for 3 Kayaks on 2008 Toyota Highlander

Question:

Id like to be able to put three kayaks on my 2008 toyota highlander. Do you have any suggestions? I dont have far to go with them as we live in a town with 7 lakes and I can take all back roads.

I envy your choice of lakes for your kayaking, but I can relate to the convenience of nearby water since I have to go only 1/4-mile to hit the lake in my kayak!

If your 2008 Toyota Highlander has a factory-installed roof rack with crossbars that run side-to-side then you can use the Thule Kayak Stacker # TH830. The Stacker handles up to 4 kayaks up to 10-feet in length and holds them on their sides. Please click on the video link provided.

If you don't have a factory roof rack but do have raised side rails on the roof then you'll need to install a roof rack in order to use the Stacker. I suggest the Curt Roof Rack # C18118 which will work perfectly with the Stacker.

If the Highlander has a bare roof with no type of bars or rails, then you'll need a different roof rack. I suggest the Inno system made of parts # INB137, # INSUT and # INK561. The Stacker will work great on this rack too.
