Why Would Powered A-Frame Jack Make Buzzing Noise and Stop Operate

Question:

Hi, I have a husky 4500 jack that is not working. Get a buzzing sound when I hit the switch. Im wondering if its the 25A circuit breaker that may need to be replaced. Their part # is 13847. Would of carry that and do you think that may be an issue? Thank you

The buzzing noise you described is typically the sound a jack will make when it can't draw enough amperage to operate. Are you sure the power source you are using for the jack has adequate amperage to power the jack and isn't a battery nearly dead?

Also check to make sure the jack is grounding properly as well. Some ground through mounting bracket and others through a separate wire.
