Parts Needed to Go From Pro Series Slide Bar Jaw Fifth Wheel Hitch to 2-Piece Jaw
Question:
I currently have a Reese 30091 Pro Series 16k square tube slider hitch. I really dont like the head unit and locking mechanism on it and want to replace it. Will RP58146 fit directly on it or will I need a new cross member as well? Also is RP58146 a better head unit than my current one on the Reese 30091?

I have a solution for you, but you will need to replace the head and the crossmember together to get the nicer jaw system and for that would need the part # RP30047A.
The Reese replacement head and cross member includes all necessary hardware to attach the head to the cross member and the cross member to the legs.
