Question:

I need to find an adapter for the following: I have a gooseneck set-up in the bed of my truck, I need to purchase something or some type of adapter that will allow me to pull a 5th wheel travel trailer, everything I have found is the opposite conversation of making a 5th wheel into a gooseneck, that IS NOT What I NEED, the Reverse as stated above, convert my gooseneck in the bed of my flatbed trailer on the pickup to be able to pull a 5th wheel, make a gooseneck into a 5th wheel

I talked with our towing Expert and there is an option available with limitations. You can use an adapter like the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter, part # CAB-C5G.

This adapter attaches to the gooseneck ball in your flat bed and you can then tow your fifth wheel trailer with it. The Expert here has this setup with his 9-ft flat bed and has an extended pin box on the trailer and says he cannot execute sharp turns without hitting the trailer, so a 10-ft bed would mean you have to make even wider turns.

You can gain a bit of extra length by using the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter w/ Offset, part # CAB-C5GX1216. This adapter cannot be used with a Sidewinder or Revolution pin box but may provide a little more clearance you need when making turns.
