Wiring Adapter Needed for Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Brake Controller to Install on 2007 Chevy Express Van
Question:
Is there a wiring adapter that will plug directly into my 2007 Chevy express 3500 or do I need to splice wires. The van came with a factory 7pin. I already have a Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller from previous Ford van, so Im only looking for an adapter if its available.

To hook up your Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller # 90885 to the new Express Van, you will need the Tekonsha replacement harness # 20127 and the holder and butt connectors # 7686. If you don't need the extra holder then you will want # 7894.
Installation on the 2007 Chevy Express Van with the 7-Way tow package should be easy. They have run the blue output brake wire already ran from the back to the front. It will be located under the dash near the emergency brake pedal, along with the bundle of wires for the brake controller. I have linked a video on a similar Express Van to your showing this installation with a different controller.
I have linked all the above mentioned products to this page for your purchasing convenience.
