The Draw-Tite Class I Sport Frame Receiver Hitch # 24897 is confirmed to fit the 2017 Ford Fusion. I spoke with my contact at Draw-Tite and he confirmed that the installation and hitch fit carriers over for the 2017 Fusion. No changes have been made that require a different installation than what is listed in the instructions. Draw-Tite is also not aware of any fit issues with a fleet vehicle.
I have attached the installation instructions and an installation video of this hitch on a similar Fusion for you.
The # 24897 trailer hitch is a custom fit hitch that will offer you a 1-1/4 inch, Class I trailer hitch receiver on your Fusion. This hitch has a maximum gross trailer weight capacity of 2,000 pounds and a tongue weight capacity of 200 pounds.
