On your 2015 Toyota Sequoia the factory brake controller plug is located underneath and to the left of the steering column, taped to another harness near the emergency brake pedal. There will be a 5-pin connector that mates with the one on harness # 3040-P. I have linked a video showing this harness being installed on an older Sequoia to show you the general location and what it looks like.
You may have to remove the kick panel next to the emergency brake pedal and it could be tucked up to where it isn't easily visible. The brake controller and harness are all that you will need if the vehicle came with a factory 7-Way connector.
If it did not come with a factory 7-Way then you will not use # 3040-P. The brake controller and a 7-Way will have to be hardwired in. You would start with a 4-Way connector, # 119250KIT, unless the vehicle already has one. then you would install # ETBC7. I have included some links that show and explain the ETBC7 installation for you.
