4-Way Trailer Wiring Recommendation for a 2007 Toyota Sienna to Replace Damaged 4-Way

Question:

My 2007 Toyota Sienna was wired from the dealer with the towing package including hitch and wiring. Im guessing the converter failed since I do not get a signal from the terminal of the 4 pin connector when I brake. It looks like the Curt wiring harness will work C55580. Any suggestions?

The fourth pin of a 4-way would be the right turn/stop signal which should see voltage when the vehicle brakes are applied. Most likely the converter box shorted out and now is damaged and would need replacing with the # C55580.

Before you do that though you will want to track down the short on the wiring of your trailer that potentially damaged your current converter box. Look for cut or exposed wire and fix as needed.
