Hitch and Bike Rack Recommendations for a 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan

Question:

I have some questions regarding a hitch for a 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan. This hitch will be utilized to mount a bike rack for two old type bikes single speed 50-60 ish. Would a 1.25inch hitch be okay or the 2? Since these bikes might be a little bulker than the light weight, multi-speed bikes should I consider a rack with three or four bike mounting? For carrying bikes that weigh as much as yours do you will want to go with a higher capacity 2 inch hitch for your 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan. For that I would recommend the Draw Tite hitch part # 75579 which is a confirmed fit that would work well.

Not all bike racks have the capacity for carrying 60 lb bikes, but the Thule T2 Pro part # TH83JV does and would be an excellent choice. I attached a review video for this rack that shows it being used on a similar 2014 Grand Caravan as yours.
