5th Wheel and Gooseneck Hitch Options for 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 Diesel Short Bed  

Question:

trying to accomodate both gooseneck and fifth wheel trailers for my 2016 4x4 Chevy short bed diesel crew cab 3500hd without smashing into cab with atleast max rated GVW of manufacturer specs?? what do you suggest??

If your 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 diesel short bed has 5 holes in the bed then it has the factory-installed puck system that accepts a fixed 5th wheel hitch like the 24K Curt # C16545-16025. For a slider hitch setup you can use adapter # C16023 to allow use of a slider like # C16541. For a gooseneck kit for this package we have part # C60692 from Curt.

If it has dealer-installed industry-standard above-bed 5th wheel rails then you can use a sliding 5th wheel hitch such as Curt # C16546. These base rails will allow you to remove the 5th wheel hitch and insert a gooseneck adapter like # 16055 which provides 4-inches of offset for better cab-to-trailer turning clearance.

If you need a 5th wheel/gooseneck wiring harness you can use # C56000 which plugs right in at your existing 7-way.
