Will Curt Trailer Hitch # C13073 Fit a 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe With Under Mounted Spare Tire Carrier
Question:
Will the Curt hitch C13073 fit on the 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe with 3.5L V6 and AWD single exhaust with the spare tire in place temporary tire/carrier in rear under vehicle - between frame rails and muffler? If not, will the Draw-tite 75684 fit with the spare tire? Also will the hitch whichever ? need to be removed to access the spare if needed. Thank you

Is the spare tire carrier you are referring to a factory option, or is it something you installed aftermarket? The Curt hitch # C13073 may work, as a space saver tire carrier is visible in the installation pictures, but it does have a closer fit than the Draw-Tite, as it runs above the exhaust. We do not have any confirmation on whether any of the hitches available for the 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe would or would not work with an aftermarket under mounted spare tire carrier.
I would recommend checking the installation area for the hitch to make sure the spare tire and carrier would not be an obstruction. All the hitches for your vehicle would attach at the same point, using the two weld nuts on the vehicle frame, close to the exhaust.
If you do find that the spare tire does not obstruct the installation area, the Draw-Tite # 75684 would most likely still give you more room with which to work, since both run below the exhaust.
I have linked the installation instructions for the Curt and the Draw-Tite models below.
