4-Way to 5-Way Adapter Recommendation for Activating Reverse Lock Out Solenoid
Question:
I need to buy a wiring harness and connector from you. Im new to trailering boats. We just purchased a boat with a trailer that has brakes. I was told that the trailer brakes are weight shift activated and it has a reverse lockout solenoid. I beleive my vehicle only has 4 wires installed as part of the factory tow package but I could be wrong. I think the standard 4 wires only support tail lights, brake lights, and turn signals not the backup lights which activate the reverse lockout solenoid. what kit do you recommend i buy from you that will be the least amount of installation effort? I simply need to send the reverse signal back to my trailer. details below. vehicle: 2007 lexus rx400h with factory tow package installed.

We have just what you would need. To convert your 4-way to a 5-way so that you can run the reverse light circuit all you would need is the # 47515.
This will tap into the reverse light circuit of the vehicle and give you the 5th circuit needed to activate your trailer's reverse lockout.
