Tekonsha PowerTrac Brake Controller on 2015 RAM 1500 Wont Activate Trailer Brakes With Brake Pedal
Question:
I have installed both parts in my truck. Brake controller activates the trailer brakes when manually activated but doesnt from the brake pedal. I have checked to make sure the fuse is installed in port F11. I am at a loss.

Due to the multiplex wiring used in the stoplamp circuit of your Ram, most time delayed controllers (including the 39523) aren't sensitive enough to 'read' the input received on the red wire that tells the controller that the brakes have been applied. This is why we don't have that brake controller listed in the fitguide for the 2015 Ram.
The # 3024-P you currently have will work, but you'll need to use a different brake controller.
I'd recommend going with the Brake EVN, part # TK63VR. The I-Command is a proportional controller, which has an internal sensor that can read how quickly the tow vehicle is braking. It'll then send the appropriate amount of voltage to the trailer brakes so the vehicle and trailer brake at the same rate. This leads to safer and more predictable braking.
