Fitment & Compatibility of Brophy Camper Tie-Downs HSSF on 1998 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel SLT Short Bed
Question:
Regarding these tie downs, Brophy Clamp On Camper Tie-Downs - Bed Mount - Black Powder Coated Steel - Qty 4, will they work on a 1998 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel SLT short bed truck? Thanks

Expert Reply:
The Brophy Camper Tie-Downs # HSSF will work great on your 1998 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel SLT short bed.
The recommended hardware package, for these tie-downs are the Brophy turnbuckles # TDHP.
It's important to note that these tie-downs are not designed to work with trucks with drop-in bed liners, plastic bed rails, side-step beds, and double-wall beds. If your truck does you will want to consider the frame mounted custom fit tie-down brackets for your vehicle which I've linked to this page for your convenience.
