Which High-Low Adapter For Honda Odyssey being Flat Towed Behind 2008 Bounder 35H

Question:

Hi, Im going to tow my Honda Odyssey behind my 2008 Bounder 35H, using an Aventa LX and BX-2251 base plate. The height difference between the tow bar and the connectors on the BX-2251 is 10.5 inches, pin-center to pin-center, with Blue Oxs level spec +/- 3 inches. If I get the RM-048-10, it will be within half an inch of dead level, but the distance from the receiver to the ground will be only 13 inches, and thus more likely to drag on driveway ramps. Overhang behind the rear axle is between 12 and 13 feet. If I go with the RM-048-08, the tow bar will be 2 inches higher than the Odyssey, but it will have 15 inches of clearance beneath the receiver while remaining within Blue Oxs +/- 3 inches spec. Which would you recommend?

Helpful Expert Reply:

Since ground clearance is limited and the part # RM-048-8 will get you within the 3 inches up and down of being level that would be your best option.

I attached a help article on how to pick out the correct high-low adapter as well.
