Anti-Rattle Hitch Pin for Pro Series Trailer Hitch Mount Cargo Carrier 63153
Question:
Which anti rattle pin do you recommend for the Pro Series rack 63153? Would this also work on a bike rack with a 2inch receiver?

Expert Reply:
The Pro Series cargo carrier # 63153 has a hollow shank so you can use an anti-rattle device that partially mounts inside of the shank. Take a look at the # 63232. This pin dramatically reduces any movement or vibration of your accessory in your hitch. The included lock ensures security for your hitch accessory.
This is deesigned for use on hollow-shank accessories with a 5/8" pin diameter like the # 63153.
This same device can be used as long as the bike rack also has a hollow shank and does not already have its own threaded bolt. Bike rack manufacturers make their threaded pin holes unique so you have to use their locks and pins.
For a universal anti-rattle device that does not fit inside the shank you can use # RSCP. I have linked a video of it as well. This device will allow you to use anti-rattle even if the bike rack has its own threaded pin. You would tighten the racks pin first and then this anti-rattle device.
