Where Is The Factory Brake Controller Port Located On A 2006 Honda Ridgeline
Question:
Where can I find the factory pigtail under the dash to plug in the factory connector I purchased with my Tekonsha P3?

Expert Reply:
If your 2006 Honda Ridgeline has the OEM tow package with the factory 7-Way trailer connector at the rear of your vehicle, then the Tekonsha Wiring Harness, # 3070-P, will need to plug into the factory brake controller connector under the dash. It is a 4-pin connector that is located underneath and left of the steering column. It will be taped to another harness near the brake pedal.
The 4-pin connector on the factory harness will match to the 4-pin connector on the Tekonsha wiring harness and the other end of the Tekonsha wiring harness will plug into your Tekonsha brake controller. That is all that would be needed to install a Tekonsha P3 brake controller to your vehicle.
