For your Jayco 16xrb Hybrid Trailer, I recommend the Reese Friction Sway Control Bar # 83660. This anti-sway bar will attach from your trailer onto your hitch, or if you have a weight distribution system with a hole for an anti-sway bar, this will fit as well. This bar installs and removes quickly and easily and can be removed with just two clips.
If you are using a regular ball mount, you will need the Reese Sway-Control Bracket for 2" Ball Mounts - Class III and Class IV # RP26003 to attach the anti-sway bar.
For a trailer weighing 4,000 lbs. I recommend using a weight distribution system along with the anti-sway bar if you are not already using one. I recommend the Reese Weight Distribution System 600 lbs. TW and 6,000 lbs. GTW # RP65509 to fit with your 2016 Jayco 16xrb. This system does not include an anti-sway bar but the anti-sway bar I recommended above will fit onto this weight distribution system.
A weight distribution system will distribute the weight off your back axle to the front axle allowing your vehicle to be more level to the ground. This also reduces the wear and tear on your Toyota 4Runner's back axle.
I attached two help articles concerning weight distribution and a review video of the Pro Series Weight Distribution System you may find helpful. I also attached an installation video of the Reese Anti-Sway Bar you may want to check out.
