Solution for Trailer Wiring Harness on a 2008 Ford F-150 With Dead CIRCUIT at Fuse Slots
Question:
2008 f150 trailer plug. Left and right, turn and brake lights do not work. Running lights work. Fuse 42 and 36 are good but there is no power to hot side of fuses.

If there isn't power to either side of the fuse slots on your truck when the blinker is on that is not a great sign. That would indicate a much larger problem upstream of the fuse box.
To save yourself the headache, you might just bypass the factory 4-way by installing a part # 18252 which would just hardwire to your truck's wiring.
