Will I Be Able to Fit a Kayak and Stand Up Paddle Board on a 2016 Jeep Cherokee with 53 Crossbars
Question:
I am trying to transport a kayak and 33inch SUP on a 2016 Cherokee with Rapid Crossroad Aero bars 53. I have Hull a port pro aero hooks for the kayak. Not sure if I can fit everything on top! Are pads my only option for the SUP?

You will be able to fit both your kayak and stand up paddle board on the top of your 2016 Jeep Cherokee with your Thule AeroBlade roof rack. Make sure you do not exceed 150 lbs. of weight on your roof as that is the maximum weight allowed on top of your vehicle.
To carry your stand up paddle board, you have more options than just pads. I recommend the Yakima SUPDawg Carrier # Y04075. This carrier is more secure than just pads as this carrier can lock and steel-reinforced straps hold your boards in place. This is one of the most secure paddle board carriers we offer.
If you are looking for a lower cost option, I recommend the Thule SUP Shuttle Carrier # TH811XT. This carrier provides more security than pads as your board sits on top of a slopped bar and tie downs are included to hold your paddle board in place. While this option cannot lock and requires a bit more time to secure your board on the roof of your vehicle, the carrier will fit on top of your roof rack and protects your paddle board from coming into contact with your crossbars.
Both of the paddle board carriers I recommended will fit on your roof rack with your Hull-A-Port XT Kayak Carrier while carrying a kayak.
I have attached a review video of the Thule SUP Shuttle Carrier on a 2016 Jeep Cherokee and a review video of the SUPDawg Carrier you may want to check out.
