Can a Fifth Wheel Rail Kit Install in Truck Bed with Plastic Bedliner
Question:
I have a plastic bed liner on my truck. should this be removed before bracket install ?

You can keep the bed liner in your truck if you want, but you will need to trim out the area where the rails would install to the bed. The rails need to mate to metal and not plastic.
If the liner is in any way sandwiched between any part of the hitch system and the truck bed, that portion will eventually disintegrate causing a loose hitch.
