Hitch Receiver Lock for 2016 GMC Sierra 2500
Question:
Will this lock work on a 2016 GMC 2500HD hitch? Thanks

Expert Reply:
Tow Ready Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # TR63252 will fit a 2-1/2-inch hitch receiver as long as the outside width of the hitch tube where the lock installs is not more than 3-1/2-inches. If your 2016 GMC Sierra 2500HD has an OEM 2-1/2-inch hitch just measure the width of the tube at the hitch pin hole to confirm this lock will be long enough. If you need a lock with a center span longer than 3-1/2-inches, then you can use part # e98881, which provides a 3-5/8-inch center span. Both of these locks also fit 2-inch receivers.
