I have attached a link to an installation video for the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack. The vehicle is different but the installation will be similar on your MKT. I have also attached the installation instructions you can check out. To order this roof rack you will need part # RR58GR.

The biggest issue you are going to face is trying to carry paddleboards at the same time you want to carry a kayak. There is just 42.2 inches of usable space on the roof rack mentioned above. I do have a solution for you though.

I recommend the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Roof Rack. This roof rack has through bars that gives you 54 inches of usable space for your water crafts. For this roof rack you will need part # RRVA137B-2, part # RRRLKVA, and part # DK341.

You mentioned you want to carry paddleboards and a kayak. For the kayak I recommend the folding Rhino-Rack J-Style Kayak Carrier, part # S512. This carrier include straps to secure the kayak to the carrier and bow/stern tie-downs to attach to the vehicle.

The carrier I recommend for your paddleboards is the Lockrack Adjustable XL Watersport Carrier, part # LR54FR. This carrier can accommodate 2 paddleboards and will work great on the Rhino-Rack crossbars.
