Recommended Hitch for a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude Edition
Question:
Can you recommend a trailer hitch for a 2015 grand Cherokee altitude? I looked at the hitches you have for 2015 grand Cherokee but because the altitude edition has dual exhaust I wasnt sure if they would work for me. Thanks

As long as your Jeep is not an SRT-8 or the diesel model, all four hitches we offer for your vehicle will work. I recommend the Draw-Tite Hitch Receiver # 75699. This hitch is confirmed to fit your vehicle and will fit your Altitude edition. I recommend this hitch because it is a better value than the other hitches for your vehicle.
This hitch is durable and is protected from rust with a powder coat finish over an e-coat base. The maximum gross trailer weight for this hitch is 5,000 lbs. and the maximum tongue weight is 500 lbs. Be sure to also check your vehicle owner's manual for your Jeep's towing and tongue capacity.
If you plan on doing some towing, then I recommend the Tow Ready T-One Vehicle Wiring Connector, # 118384. This harness will connect to the factory harness behind the rear bumper on the driver's side. I also recommend the etrailer.com Ball Mount Kit, # 989900, which includes 2 different ball mounts, 2 hitch balls, a pin and clip and a storage bag to keep everything together.
I have attached an installation video of the Draw-Tite hitch and Wiring Harness on a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee you may want to check out.
