Bearings, Races and Seals Recommendation for 1989 Trailer with Bearing Inner Diameter of 1.06 inch
Question:
Need a set of bearings, races and a seal for my 1989, 4x4, 1000 pounds trailer. Using a caliper I measured the inside diameter of the bearing I removed = 1.060 inches. Measured the straight knurled area on the axle where the bearings sit = 1.167 inches. I am not seeing anything on your site that matches inner diameter. Can you help?? Thank You

Expert Reply:
The bearing diameter you mentioned matches what would fit a BTR spindle. It sounds like both bearings have the same inner diameter of 1.06 inches. Especially considering the weight of the trailer and the bolt pattern you need.
If so, the correct fitting hub would be the part # AKIHUB-440-2-2K which uses bearing that both have inner diameters of 1.06 inches. The bearing numbers are # L44649.
For a kit that has the appropriate bearings, races and seals you would want the part # BK1-150. The seal inner diameter of this is 1.50 inches. The outer diameter is 1.987 inches.
