Sorry to hear about your bad experience but we can help you.

New hubs must use the same bearings as the ones that were stolen to ensure they will fit on your spindles. New wheels must also use the same bolt pattern to ensure they will fit on the hubs.

Since you don't have your hubs you can measure your spindles using a digital caliper like # PTW80157 to determine what bearings will fit. If you refer to the linked image you will see the points on the spindle that you need to measure for the bearings, points C and D. These measurements will give you the inner diameter of the bearings you need. Measure to three decimal places, like 1.234-inches.

Small utility trailers often use 2000-lb axles. On this size axle the most common bearings used are the 1.000-inch inner diameter # L44643. You can use the linked bearing page to match up your measurement; click on your inner diameter measurement. This tells you what bearings fit and that in turn tells you what hubs will fit. For example, if you measure a 0.99-inch spindle diameter then a bearing with an inner diameter of 1-inch will fit.

With your inner bearing known you can use the other linked page to select an idler hub that uses those same bearings. I also linked our page for trailer tires/wheels. Click on your bolt pattern to see all wheel/tire items that fit your selected hubs. You can also select your preferred tire type and load range.

For a 1-inch spindle nut use part # 165686 and for a tang washer use # 5-101.
