Can Factory Brake Control Wiring Harness Be Used with Voyager Brake Controller on 2006 GMC Sierra

2006 GMC SEIRRIA SLE I have the vehicle jumper # z36507778 , can it be used with the # 39510 controller, or will a harness be supplied to match my vehicle?

You can use the factory wiring harness you have with the Tekonsha Voyager brake controller # 39510. The wire functions on the brake controller are white for ground, black for 12 volt power, red for input from the brake switch, and blue for output to the trailer brakes.
If the functions on the harness for your 2006 GMC Sierra are not labeled then they are likely the following: black for ground, red for 12 volt power, light blue for brake switch input, and dark blue for output to the trailer brakes. If there is a brown wire it will not be used.
If your harness has different colors I recommend adding wiring harness # 3015-P so as to avoid any potential wiring mishaps!
There may also be some connections that you will need to make under the hood to make everything fully functional. I have included a link to a help article that, in part, explains these connections.
