Replacement Leaf Spring Options for 3,500 Pound Trailer Axles

Question:

I have a 2004 Keystone outback 28bhs. It has two 3500 lb axels and I need leafsprings. One is broken. Right now they have a 4 spring setup. Is there anyway to look at what comes stock to ensure fit?

To determine the correct replacement spring you will need to go by the measurements of the existing springs. This is best done with the weight off of the spring you are measuring either by removing it or by jacking up one side of the trailer.

We have replacements that are rated for 3,500 pound axles. All of the springs on the trailer should be replaced at the same time so that the trailer doesn't have some good springs and some worn out ones. That could lead to poor ride quality and uneven tire wear.

For a 4-leaf spring we have # e54SR. It is 25-1/8 inches long from the center of one eye to the center of the other eye. We also have a 3-leaf model, # e59SR, 23-1/8 inches long.
