What To Do with Extra Wires of Adapter 37185 that are For Unused Circuits
Question:
I have product Adapter 4 Pole to 7 Pole, part # 37185. Regarding the extra wiresI understand the white wire is grounded to the frame of my vehicle. However, if I do not have trailer brakes, do not have backing lights, and do not need a battery charge/12 V power source, can the remaining wires blue, black, and purple simply be taped off and unused? Thank you for your help.

You are correct. The unused wires of the # 37185 can be taped up and out of the way since you have no use for them.
