Trunk Mount Bike Rack for a 1994 Olds Achieva and a Full Suspension Bike
Question:
I have a 1994 Oldsmobile achievia. Im looking to purchase a trunk mounted bike rack. One that can fit three bikes. It also must be able to carry a full suspension mens bike. The bike is 27.5 inches and the top bar isnt straight. Its slightly angled. A two bike rack would be acceptable if thats my only option.

For your 1994 Olds Achieva I recommend the Thule OutWay for 3 bikes # TH56BV. This rack has a good long reach so it fits many vehicles, even ones with spoilers. It is the absolute easiest to install and remove because it uses only 2 straps instead of the 4-6 of other racks. It has adjustable arms to help accommodate non-traditional bikes like you mentioned. It also comes with locks to deter theft.
On your full suspension bike though you will need to use an adapter bar such as # 64005 to be able to carry it on any trunk mount carrier. The bar will act as an artificial top tube so the bike can be mounted of the rack. You would use this on any bike that does not have a horizontal top bar. I have linked a video showing how the adapter bar works as well as a video of the bike rack.
