Length of T2 Fat Bike Replacement Straps/Troubleshooting Strap Not Being Long Enough
Question:
How long are these straps? I read this rack fits tires up to 29inch and up to 5inch wide. Well yes, the tires fit but the straps do not! How long are these straps you are selling? Thank you.

I spoke with my contact at Thule and she informed me that from tip to tail the strap part # 8527642001 measures 17-1/2 inches and from the hole to the end measures 16-1/4 inches.
Most likely the issue you are experiencing is that you have the correct length strap but it is not routed properly for use with a fat bike. I attached a couple pictures that should show you the differences in how the strap should route. What you would need to do is pull out the current strap you have and then route it through the outside of the cradle like in the second picture.
