Why Cant You Back Up with a Weight Distribution System Hooked Up

What is to prevent a person from backing up with this system? Would it cause damage?

If you were to back up in a straight line there wouldn't be any problems with having the Pro Series Weight Distribution system part # 49570 with # 83600 installed. But if you were to end up in a tight turn situation you would end up damaging the friction sway control unit and could potentially damage bars. They aren't made to withstand a jackknifed turn.
