Plug and Play Trailer Connector for 2003 Ford F250
Question:
do you have the plug-in type for this truck? My other truck just required unplugging the existing connection and ing a plug between the male and female ends. No wire cutting was needed. Truck is a 2003 ford F250

Expert Reply:
A plug-in type, or T-1 connector is not available for the 2003 F250. The harness you have looked at, part # 18252 is the only harness offered.
Installing this item is very simple. The white wire grounds to the truck frame, the yellow wire would tap into the wire feeding the left directional/brake light, the green wire taps into the wire feeding the right directional/brake light, and the brown wire taps into the running light circuit. Accessing the rear of each taillight assembly provides easy access to the correct circuits. Simply use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to identify each circuit before tapping into it.
