Recommended Class III Hitch, Wiring & Related Towing Parts for 2016 Honda Odyssey
Question:
I want to install a class 3 trailer hitch and wiring on my 2016 honda odyssey, I have seen your how to videos on 2015 hitch installation and 2014 wiring installation how different is the installation for the 2016?

The 2011 through 2016 model years of the popular Honda Odyssey are all part of the same 4th generation of this vehicle so the hitch installation process on a 2015 shown in our video will be essentially identical on your 2016. That install video is linked for you.
I recommend Draw-Tite Class III hitch # 75270 for its no-drill installation and substantial tongue weight capacity - 675-lbs. For a 4-pole wiring harness you can use part # 118521 from Tekonsha, which is a simple plug-in type installation - no cutting or splicing of the car's wires!
I recommend the Ball Mount Kit # EBMK4 to complete your towing set-up. This kit includes a ball mount, two sizes of hitch ball, and a pin and clip.
