What Brake Fluid Should be Used In Titan Brake Actuators
Question:
Getting ready to install the model T43397007K actuator. Is it OK to use dot5 brake fluid. If not then which one to use. Thank you

I just called my contact at Titan and they told me that you should never use the DOT 5 fluid. They said if DOT 5 is used it will reduce the life of the seals in the unit by about 75 percent.
They told me that DOT lll brake fluid should be used.
