Does a Brake Controller Interact or Interfere with Factory Sway Control on a 2010 Ford Expedition

Question:

I have a 2010 Ford Expedition with the heavy duty tow package that includes trailer sway control. I just bought a 5 Ton dump trailer and had it loaded to about 4TN and it started fish tailing at about 50 MPH. As I applied the brakes the sway control took over and did a beautiful job getting everything back in line very quickly. My question is how does P3 brake controller interact with the sway control braking action on the tow vehicle?

A brake controller and the integrated sway control on your 2010 Ford Expedition will not have any interaction with each other. The brake controller is only going to operate the trailer brakes while the integrated sway control on the Expedition is only associated with the vehicle side of things.
