Fit of Thule T2 Pro on 2006 Nissan Murano and 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe
Question:
I am interested in getting the Thule T2 Pro TH9034XTS. I have a 2006 Murano with a hitch from Hidden Hitch 2 And a 2016 Santafe XL with a hitch to be installed this summer 2inch Hidden Hitch most likely. I would like to know if this this bike rack will be compatible with BOTH of my vehicles. And if not please identify where I will run into problems which vehicle and the issue etc. Also I understand it has 3 .. possibly 5 locking options. Hitch x1, cable x2 and possibly also sliding arm x2. It only comes with the first 3 but I would like to confirm whether I can add the locks on the sliding arm. Please confirm.

To determine if the Thule T2 Pro # TH83JV would be compatible with your Murano, you'd need to measure straight rearward from the hitch pin hole until the rear bumper is cleared. If that dimension is less than 6 inches, the T2 Pro would work fine with your Murano. I'll link you to an FAQ article that shows how this is done.
The hitch needed for your Santa Fe will depend on whether it's a Sport or an SE/Limited model. For an SE or Limited model, use the Hidden Hitch # 75776 or Draw-Tite # 75772 for a Sport which is the same manufacturer.
When we installed the Draw-Tite # 87634 on a 2015 Sport model, we found that the hitch pin hole to end of bumper distance was 4-1/2 inches. When we installed the Hidden Hitch # 75776 on a 2016 Santa Fe SE/Limited, we found the distance to be 4-1/4 inches. The T2 Pro would be compatible with either hitch.
If you click the provided links, you can see install videos for the Santa Fe Hitches I mentioned, as well as a product description video for the T2 Pro bike rack.
