Recommended Hitch Mounted Platform Style Bike Carrier For 2015 Subaru Outback Wagon
Question:
I am interested in getting a hitch bike rack. The one I like is the Thule T2 916xtr with integrated cable lock. I have a 2 inch hitch. Does it come with an adapter for 2 inch hitch?

The Thule TH916 bike carrier has been discontinued and is no longer available, but we do have options for your 2 inch trailer hitch receiver.
We offer the Thule T2 Pro X, part # TH23GC. This rack has the same styling as the older version but the color has been changed to black, and it no longer features the cable lock as you mentioned. It does have a Snug Tite hitch lock included to secure the bike rack to your Outback.
The newer version of the T2 is the T2 PRo XTR, part # TH83JV. This rack has large wheel cradles to accommodate tires up to 5 inches wide. This carrier can hold 2 bikes that weigh up to 60 lbs each.
We also offer the Thule Pro XTR # TH69TX for 4-bikes. It can be set up to carry 2 or 4 bikes as needed.
