Install Harness Recommendation and Install Port Location for Brake Controller on a 2016 Honda Pilot

Question:

I just purchased a 2016 Honda Pilot and had the tow package and wiring installed. I am trying to install a Tekonsha P3 and the adaptor to plug in the back and into my factory harness. What I dont see is the factory female piece and wondering if you could assist me? The dealer plays dumb every time I ask.

To install your P3 brake controller part # 90195 in your 2016 Honda Pilot you would need the install harness part # 3070-P. I confirmed with Tekonsha that this is the correct harness for your vehicle.

The harness will be located underneath the dash and left of the steering column, taped to another harness near the brake pedal. There will be a 4-pin connector that mates with the one on the adapter.
