How Does Reese Low-Profile 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Work with a Folding Gooseneck Hitch Ball

in the description of this product it says Easily removable hitch head and low-profile legs allow use of folding gooseneck hitches from Bulldog, Draw-Tite and Reese What does this mean? I am interested in pulling a gooseneck as well.....

The head, which is the top most part of hitch # RP30054, is held to the base below it with pins. Just undue the pins and you can lift the head off. The legs are short enough so that if you had a gooseneck ball that folds, such as # 8339 for example, the legs would not interfere with the operation of the gooseneck or the gooseneck coupler on the trailer.

The low profile 5th wheel hitch is usually used on flat bed trucks and requires a professional installation. I have linked the install details for you. If you do have a flat bed truck then the installation of a gooseneck hitch would also need to be done by a professional since there are no specific installation kits for flat bed trucks.

If you have a regular pickup truck I would just need to know the year, make, and model because there are better options than the low profile hitch.
