How to Determine Which Replacement Grease Seals for 1997 Jayco 1207KB Travel Trailer

Question:

Hello, I have a 97 Jayco 1207KB. I would like to change the grease seal out when I change the tires and rims out next weekend. I have NO CLUE what seals to purchase. Do you have a reference guide so I can purchase the correct units for my trailer. Your help is appreciated. Thanks

The easiest way to determine which seals you have would be the positively identify the hub you have. Many times there'll be a casting number on the hub, like 8-247 for instance. If you reply with the casting number, I'd be happy to recommend the proper grease seal.

Another way would be to provide me with the reference numbers from the inner and outer wheel bearing, along with the diameter of the spindle surface where the seal rides and the diameter of the hub bore on the inside of the hub. These measurements would need to be highly accurate, so using a digital caliper like # PTW80157 is recommended.
