Will Reese Trailer Hitch Mount Railed Cargo Carrier Block Rear Door Operation on a 2010 Toyota RAV4
Question:
i had a 1.25 trailer hitch installed on the rav4. im thinking about buying the reese carrier but not sure if its raised shank 3" may block the swing rear door of the vehicle. i dont think so but just want to double check with you experts. thanks!

The Reese railed Cargo Carrier, # 63155, does have a rise of three inches from the top of the receiver opening on the trailer hitch. The outside rails are 5-1/2 inches tall. Total height from the top of the receiver opening to the highest point on the carrier equals 8-1/2 inches. The carrier also sits 11 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole. If you measure from the top of the receiver opening up to the farthest part down on the rear door and it is more than 8-1/2 inches, then the cargo carrier will fit.
