Best Mounting Place on a Vehicles Mirror for the Cipa Hot Spot Convex Mirrors

Typically the best spot for the hot spot mirrors, like the # 49403 you referenced, to be mounted are in the lower outside corner of the mirror like in the attached image. Depending on your vehicle and mirrors you may want to test out other locations before permanently installing the adhesive. One way to do this is with a double sided piece of tape and then sit in the drivers seat and adjust until in the optimal position, if it were me I would do it in a parking lot or an area where I could carefully simulate as if vehicles on the road that would be in my blind spot, then use the adhesive on the mirror for a more secure connection.
In the attached video you will see the mirror mounted close to the edge of the mirror but placed so that it will not cover up the signal on the mirror.
