Shank with More Drop to Tow Trailer Level with Husky Center Line Weight Distribution System
Question:
I have the HT32218 and recently changed towing vehicle to a RAM 2500. The ball is now 3inch higher than it should be on the lowest set up using the supplied shank. Is there a replacement shank to lower the ball this 3inch for the 32218? Do you carry it and what is the cost.

The Husky Center Line weight distribution system # HT32218 uses a shank with 3/4 inch diameter holes that are spaced 1-1/4 inches apart on center. You will be able to use a shank with the proper amount of drop even if it is from a different manufacturer.
Fastway shank # FA92-02-4214 has a maximum drop of 5-1/2 inches compared to the 1-1/4 inch max drop of the Husky shank so it will get you nearly 3 inches lower.
Another option is the Reese shank # RP3215 which has a max drop of 5-3/4 inches when used with trunnion bar systems such as # HT32218.
Current pricing for all parts are available on the product pages.
