What Kind of Maintenance to the Bearing Grease is Needed if the Bearings Never Get Wet?

If you dry launch and dry haul your boat into saltwater hubs never get wet- ever, should you grease your bearings occasionally anyway?

It is always a good idea to keep your bearings greased. Since you will not be getting them wet, your lubricant may last longer. But you will want to re-lubricate the bearings annually so that they are not operating metal on metal, which will cause them to go bad very quickly. So yes, it is a good idea to grease your bearing occasionally anyway.
