Can you tell me what the torque requirements for the mounting nuts?

30-50 ft lbs of torque is the recommended torque spec for installing the etrailer.com brake assemblies part # AKEBRK-2L.
If you don't have a torque wrench handy, if you tighten the bolts until the lock washers flatten out, you'll be pretty close to that range.
