Does Reese Adapter for Rams with Factory 5th Wheel Prep Mount to the Truck Frame or Bed

What does the adapter hook to on the 2016 ram 3500 dually?? Does it hook to the frame or just the bed??

Reese adapter # RP30154 for Ram trucks with the factory 5th wheel prep package mounts to the 4 pucks in the bed. Those pucks are attached to the truck frame. Fifth wheel hitch installation kits are always attached to the frame in some way because the bed alone is not strong enough for 5th wheel towing. I have linked a video review of the adapter for you.
