Sportrack Cargo Box Recommendation to Fit Sportrack Roof Rack on 2009 Chrysler PT Cruiser

Hello. I am looking at this after buying a saris roof rack from you but am concerned about the weight. I have a naked roof on my PT Cruiser so Im bit sure how much the roof can hold especially with the added weight from moving at highway speeds. Im personally saying keep it at about 100 lbs. How much does the basket way? Do you know the weight limit for a naked 2009 PT Cruiser base model? Also what would you recommend for cargo box?

I checked your order notes and you ordered a Sportrack roof rack part # SR1005 for your 2009 Chrysler PT Cruiser. The Thule carrier part # TH859XT has a 150 lb capacity and weighs 29 lbs. From the research I did it looks like the vehicle has a 165 lb weight capacity but you should still confirm this by checking the owners manual or with Chrysler.

For a Sportrack Cargo box that would fit your rack well the part # SR7018 would be a great option confirmed as a fit. It weighs 38 pounds. I attached a review video as well for you to check out.
