It sounds like you're looking for a replacement a-frame coupler like # CA-5280-RB but in a silver-painted or zinc-plated finish. Please click on the link provided to see all bolt-on standard a-frame couplers for 2-5/16-inch balls.

For the highest-rated designs Demco part # DM16680-52 is a 21K-rated bolt-on coupler with a silver powder-coat finish and part # DM13205-95 has a zinc finish. Both fit jacks with a 2-1/4-inch diameter outer tube and have a standard 3-1/4-inch mounting hole spacing. Both fit standard 50-degree a-frame trailers.

I went to our warehouse and measured the 3/8-inch mounting holes' spacing. I prepared a photo for you with these dimensions.
